Yep, the long anticipated Sandy Bridge has arrived, you can find the specific processors and features available after the break.
Prices range from $117 to $317 plus tax, no word on UK pricing just yet.
For those interested in the differences with Sandy Bridge, in terms of communications between chips, rather than get myself in a twist trying to explain it, I'll just let you look over the pic below, and get it all first hand. But bear in mind this is for a P67 'board, there will be slight differences throughout the other nine chipsets.
Below, Intel's updated Turbo Boost feature.
Sandy Bridge CPU's have integrated graphics, or as Intel will have you call them 'Processor Graphics'. To use it, however, you must have an H-series chipset on your motherboard (ie. H67, not P67). It has full support for HDMI v1.4 - most relevant to the majority will be sequential stereoscopic 3D playback. 3D BD's with no dedicated graphics? Nice.
The chips with an unlocked multiplier - denoted by a "K" suffix to the model number, can be easily overclocked, but will require a P67 'board to fiddle with the multiplier. Can be cranked all the way up from 3.3GHz to 5.7GHz.
